The Wearable Arts Presentation
Our finished Wearable Arts Creations
Shontelle will be wearing this Rainbow Lorikeet Creation at the Cultural Festival at the end of August. Creating this was a really big task. It involved cutting out many small fabric feathers and sewing them on in rows. This shows the cape and dress we have created.

Making Our Wearable Arts Creations
In Term 2 we worked hard creating our own Wearable Arts outfits. We used a lot of scraps of fabric for our creations. Some of us learnt how to use a sewing machine too!! To create our things it involve lots of patience and team work.

Team Challenges
During Term 1 some coaches came to our school from Sport Canterbury. We had a lot of fun with some co-operative games and team challenges.
McDonald's Variety Bash
We were lucky to have a visit from the McDonald's Variety Bash. They were travelling around the country raising money for their children's charities. We all received a McDonalds hat.
